Event Background:
Established in 1993, Presidents’ Fest in the Park has grown from a small community carnival held in the parking lot of the Weston Park of Commerce to one of West Broward’s most anticipated and publicized events.
Demographics:
Home to celebrities like Miami Dolphin’s quarterback, Dan Marino, Weston is one of Broward County’s most affluent areas. Home prices range from about $120,000 to multi-millions. The median household income is $80,920. The population is now over 61,000. Public School enrollment is 14,761. The area racial composition is 61.8% White, 30.2% Hispanic, 3.7% African-American and 3.2% Asian.
